Mukya Pranyancha Kardankal

It was 1am of 12th Oct. Ballya wind up the work and kicked his Bike.
After reaching 50-60m from office he found the Street Lights sleeping.
He was in 4th Gear with Increasing Speed at 40kmph when suddenly Ballya found that he and his bike are separated and rolling instead of running. Both of them rolled for around 8-10m when Ballya knew something happened. The Dogs around were shouting on him may be he hit one of them. When he tried to lift the bike he felt pain in left wrist. Somehow he started the bike but was not able to use left hand. He halted under a street lamp ahead and discovered that there are major bruising on his left wrist. Somehow he managed to drive bike with right hand till home. Once he reached home he had more discoveries that he had injured his right knee, right elbow and left wrist. He also had a watch with broken glass and a jacket with multiple strips. In the morning he went to Hospital and had the dressing up done and took rest in Home but with
enthusiasm to inform the BloodyMaryBoyz he took the efforts to post the Terrifying Picture of him.

Murud - The Name is attached with BloodyMaryBoyz.

23 Sep 06 one more trip to the dream destination of BloodyMaryBoyz begun. This time the Gang members were Me, Ballya, Avya & the only driver Pashya. The engines were fired at 5am in morning. The roads were ready with the Green Carpets on the side to welcome and join us in our journey. After having Vada Pav at Shirwal we entered Mahabaleshwar which was covered with white carpet which cannot be described in words. The ambenali ghat was excellent where we halted near a waterfall. We reached Murud at around 11am. The road to resort was water lagged. The last visit anyone had made to the Resort was way back on 17th July. A cyclone warning was given so we were unsure abt the weather but by our luck it was beautiful weather with Blue-Black Skies and no rains and warm sunrays. Once we settled the Beer Bottles Open. Its an amazing experience to have chilled beer in the afternoon and tht too with beauty of Sea Beach in ur sites. 5 bottles were emptied and then we went to have fun in the sea. This time I decided to enter in the sea with my glasses and soon I knew tht was not a good thing to do since a Wave as if slapped me and took my Glasses in the ocean. We looked for the glasses without any success so we decided to stop the hunt and continue play. Its said tht the ocean gives back what it takes and this was true, I felt something at my feets and soon found tht it was my lost glasses, it was a miracle. This time respecting the Sea Gods I went and kept my glasses secured in the room. Then we decided to take rest and move back and open the bottles of Bacardi. It continued for sometime and we were served with delicious Sea Food. The darkness had already taken over and it was time to rest our eyes too. The Next morning we had excellent Kande Phohe for Breakfast and went to the beach where we played Cricket for sometime. Now it was time to open the Bottles of Beer....Ahhhhh......tht was the relief with the 1st sip. We left Murud after having lunch and decided to take the Tamhini route. All the way we could see only 4 colors green, blue, white, grey. One impossible event which happend was Mr. Bhusari got a spash on his head with a kabutar shit even when he was siting inside a car speeding with 100kmph. The evening took over and we started with tamhini ghat. We reached Pune and decided to have a Beer before going home so we landed in Oasis. The journey ended at 10pm when finally everyone reached their home and the Goddess of Sleep took us with her................

Donated blood for 1st time

Today Pashya (kalya) and myself celebrated Friendship Day by donating blood. We were both first timers. The last time I tried was when a blood donation camp was organised in our college. I did all the formalities and was in the queue with other friends with the blood collecting rubber bag in my hand. The last thing I remember was that I saw one of my friend's arm being pricked by the needle. The next moment when I woke up, I was on floor and 10 people were surrounding me. Since that day, I was somewhat afraid of the whole stuff despite having the urge to donate blood. But today I kept all the past aside and went ahead for it. The one thing I did today was not to have a look at blood and it all went well.

A nice poem on friendship....The Last Leaf

Was thinking of old friends today
And how many of them have slipped away.
Moved, got married, or stopped calling so much,
Found new friends, got busy, and just lost touch.
It reminded me of falling leaves.
Every autumn the leaves fall from the trees.
Some stay longer than others, but eventually -
Each leaf must fall, I'm told,
Leaving the tree alone to face the cold.
Why is it that in the time of utmost need
The leaves would seek to leave the tree?
And when we need our friends around
We look and they can not be found?
Of course these friendships come and go
And in the spring new leaves will grow.
But I prefer autumn friends of old
With crackling laughter and colors bold.
It saddens me now I must admit
How somehow, someway, I did forget
Laughing with old friends of mine
During summers when the sun would shine.
And then I thought of you.
That one stubborn leaf that won't let go.
That clings despite the winds that blow.
Fighting ice, and snow, and winter's stings
Hanging on right through till spring.
So I guess that's what you are to me -
The very last leaf to leave the tree.
I know it seems silly, but it's true.
When I see that last leaf...I think of you.

Brisbane Bus Stop

This is the bus stop where Prasanna has started reading an autobiography of Steve Waugh. Rather unusual place to read a book if you consider replicating the same in India.

Australia beckons

Some 10 days after our trip to Murud beach this guy in the foto, Prasanna, got a chance to work in the land of Kangaroos. Now he is living in an apartment with a beach nearby. But he is doing what he can do best, having beer. Of the many things he is also dreaming of kicking hard on my ass when he comes back. I guess he is getting bored coz in kangaroo land they don't serve Bedekar misal, kokam Sharabat, Bhindi fry and above all he is missing the gr8 saturday nights we enjoy in India. Come with the nicest champagne the aussies have on offer mate and don't forget the bet...:-)

Murud trip in March 06

Graffitti in a dhaba
Originally uploaded by pravinb.
In the first week of March, we had again been to the marvellous murud beach on western coast of Maharashtra. I dont think we will ever stop coming to this magnificent beach. This time around we hired a boat n sailed in to see the dolphins. We had all seen them for the first time. We were having a time of our life in the sea, with beer and Tukaram's khana. The foto in this post is taken in a dhaba on our way back from the beach. All these snaps are taken by our latest gadget Sony K750i.

New cellfones

2 of the members, myself n Frank got themselves swanky, new Sony Ericsson K750i and in the meantime made the dealer richer by 35 grands. The phone has all the feature which everybody craves for a cell fone to have and to top it all it's also an MP3 player with equalizer n damn good ear fones. To get jealous you can check the stuff urselves on this site.
But the irony was that the first call I got was from my mobile operator politely asking me to PAY THE BILLS OR ELSE.......:-)
