Sunday

Monday, 30th March. My day started somewhat unusual but expected
messages. It was first Pashya asking, "Is your body saying - Oh.. ho..Ouch..?"
Then followed Tushar saying, "Body parts kay mhantayet"? Then came Sr.
Bari informing how he is getting angry looks from Shital Bari in response to
his attempts to make her laugh! This all was well enough for me to go into
flashback (Om Shanti Om style!). Frankly speaking, we-Shital and me- were
on the same boat as other six and did not even require a trigger to
remember what we had gone trough (or 'into' ?) the day before... -More than
6 hours in water... facing waves...under the shadow of Dinosaurs and still
burning our skins... crying out to max of our abilities... and...
...and of course missing the ones who could not make to the Krushnai
WaterWorld on that Sunday!
Yes, that was yet another 'last-minute-plan' to spend a Sunday together
with the best buddies. Till few hours before we decided, we all were
complaining about the burning sun, rising temperature and how it is not
advisable to go to a water park in such a fiery-hot climate. And boy o boy... in
next few hours we experienced what a thrill it can be riding the two Natural
Elements at once- Air bounded inside the tubes and the water driving it! [I
still wonder how come the tubes sustained with some our members’ weight!]
We, especially both the Shitals, were thinking of a visit to Krushnai Water
Park since we saw it on our way to Sinhagad, a few months back. But still, the
way it was planned made it a surprise trip for all of us.
We planned to be the first group at the ticket counter in the morning, which
we didn't miss by much; we were first but one! (I hope this means second!).
We six including two Avinash, two Shital, Pashya and Tushar, joined by
Archana and Atul Chandak, gathered at the Krushnai Gate. Being near to
Sinhagad, it wasn't surprising to see Shiv-Chhatrapati Statue at the gate. (ते
देखील बहुतेक आपल्या कु टुंबाला पाणी-पाणी खेळायला घेऊन आले असावेत!). By the time
we finished all the formalities, it was 10:30 am. We all changed into the
required attire and the mood as well. And next six hours it was just Water,
Water and Water! After warming up in a pool with a small slide we turned to
large and multiple slides. Few of them were just breath taking. Pendulumfor-
two really thrilled for the moments. There were four slides at second
floor and five slides at third floor. Each one us enjoyed each slide at leastthree times. Yet nobody can believe the fact he/she went up to third floor
more than 30 times in an hour or two! After all this great exercise, came the
time to relax a bit. We didn’t find any better place for this than the Wave
Pool itself. We entered the pool well before the waves started and gave our
bodies the much needed rest. Then came the time to ride the waves with the
dance beats... After being there in the pool, now each one of us thinks
he/she has learnt to swim (and dance as well!).
During the breaks for lunch and snacks, we also learnt how they make
'Buddhi ke Baal' from sugar. [Till that time I was just wondering how come
somebody has sweet hair! and if at all she does have, why she will sale it so
cheaply!]. We even learnt that if you have 'Gola' in the fiery sun, it may
affect your throat and people then keep you asking- 'your voice seems
heavy..!' (रा􁮢ीची उतरली नाही का अजुन?)
The disappointment which came knowing that the 'lazy river' is not flowing
(may be she’s got a bit too lazy that day!) was vanished once we entered the
dance floor for the rain dance! And it was superb. We didn't really try to go
much closer to what they call as 'Dance', but we really enjoyed every beat
of it! The main attraction was of course the 'Nagin Dance' by Atul Chandak,
supported on 'Pungi' by our very own Prasanna Bari! [After that event, we
are actually planning to make their shows worldwide and earn some money
for our group!]
After spending the 6-7 watery hours in swing, it was time go home riding the
Bull. We all tried to make it move from its place but failed. We felt cheated
because we all have paid 20 rupees each for that and somebody later told us
that the bull just revolves around itself and never moves. Finally we gave up
and so we have to take the same vehicle as morning..! Avinash Bari’s car..!
On the way back, each one has only one thing to tell to others - "How nice
the day was...!"
The park in itself is not the greatest one. It's good; what made it great was
each one of us… And as usual, we rocked...! BloodyMaryBoyz Rocked…!
They say - Liquid can dissolve all the stress. When you find your stress is
too much to get dissolved in the glass, try 'Waterpark'...!
